Most of the corporate houses go live on 26th of January -the republic day !!
My dad being in Central Govt, we three siblings have had a great time making sure to attend every event, school as well as dad's office. I do remember the days when early morning on one of these days (26th Jan/ 15 Aug) having no choice we painted our white school shoes with chalks. Always made sure not to miss the patriotic movies telecast on national television channel. The time when we had a black n white 14inches Videocon TV.
When I look back now, I feel sad to be where I am now...cant be a part of "national flag-hoisting" which I've seldom ever missed in life... I'll miss the greatest sense of joy and pride of singing "Jan gan man" with head held high standing under the open sky. Listening the music of Shahanai and to the song "Aye Vatan Aye vatan humko teri kasam". Its all truly so amazing...!!!
